As stated in the copyright law page, a license determines one’s right to use an illustration or body of work for a specific purpose and/or length of time.

Also referred to as “usage rights”, licensing agreements offer art buyers the opportunity to utilize an image in the way that best meets their project goals, while allowing artists the ability to earn fair market value for their creative property. For example, Client A may prefer to commission a new image that will be exclusive to their publication, Web site or company branding, while Client B may only want to purchase a license to use an existing image for a single use, such as a flier for a trade show.

Many of the images shown in the gallery are available for licensed usage and can be modified to accommodate a particular color preference or display specification.
